EMILY KEY, LMFTA

With a foundation of safety, authenticity, and trust, relationships can be the most beautiful and fulfilling aspect of life.

Emily’s Approach

My work is focused on creating deep and meaningful change, and I’ll stick with you as you move through the hard stuff. I’ll help you make sense of your emotions, think in healthy ways, and create safe and secure relationships. We’ll explore the impact of your past experiences, shift unhelpful patterns, and I'll support you in building the life you long for. As your pain, shame and fear start to feel lighter, you’ll feel ready to let go of the old ways you survived life’s most challenging moments…but with a compassion and grace for the version of you that once needed them.

If you:

  • Long for relationship connection but feel unsure of how to get it

  • Are hurting because of relationship conflict or betrayal

  • Struggle with shame and self-criticism and want to increase your self-esteem

  • Feel ready to connect with your higher self, heal old wounds caused by trauma, and live a more intentional life

I’ll help you:

  • Understand your emotions, identify your needs, and clarify your boundaries

  • Build the foundation of a connected, vulnerable, and intimate relationship

  • Balance self-compassion with personal accountability

  • Live according to your personal values and intentional goals

  • Feel confidence and trust in yourself

More About Emily

I have always been excited to better understand relationships, both from a personal and professional lens. In my own life, working with a therapist who allows me to show up authentically with the full range of my emotions has truly been transformational. In my own journey, I’ve learned that the hardest parts of life often bring us back to healing our relationship with ourselves. By connecting with my messier parts and making sense of my own life’s complexities, I’ve developed a deeper attunement to my clients’ needs and a personal care for the things that often bring people to therapy.
