JESSICA MCCALL, LMFT-S, CSAT-S, CPTT-S
Jessica’s Approach
I help individuals and couples work through emotional wounds and destructive coping strategies. I provide nurturance, structure, guidance, and accountability, then I teach you how to provide these for yourself and accept them from safe people. We’ll unpack your internal world, untangle complicated relationships, and access more options for getting your needs met. You’ll gain the clarity, confidence, and compassion to heal your woundedness, release your self-protective (possibly self-sabotaging) coping mechanisms, and show up for yourself and those you love in a new, healthy way.
If you:
Feel terrified of intimacy, or desperately starve for it
Long to be loved, but struggle getting your connection needs met
Question your reality, doubt your intuition, and feel anxious most of the time
Are sick of your old patterns and really ready to shake things up
I’ll help you:
Come home to yourself, trust yourself, and like yourself
Set self-honoring limits with yourself and others
Develop intimacy skills so you can get your needs met in a way that is effective and aligned with the person you want to be
Step into empowerment… I won’t let you blame others or stay stuck in victimhood
More About Jessica
The way I see it, we all have some messy stuff to work through and we should all probably be “in recovery” for something. You are not broken or inadequate or unloveable. Your problems probably formed because you never learned how to connect, you don’t feel permission to be authentic, or you never learned how to get your needs met. My passion and purpose is helping others who did not learn these things as children to master them as adults. I fell into my clinical specialty by accident and it quickly opened the door to my own profound healing. Therapy can be hard and looking in the scary closet is vulnerable (I would know), but it can also lead you to feel more security, connection and empowerment than you’ve ever known could exist in your lifetime!
